The small amount of data we store in your browser, and exactly what each piece does.

A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. We use them to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and make checkout work. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell your browsing data.
| Name | What it does | Type |
|---|---|---|
| Sign-in session | Keeps you signed in to your account and protects your session. Set by our authentication provider. | Essential |
| country / currency | Remembers the country and display currency you chose, so prices are shown the way you picked on your next visit. | Preference |
| checkout_snapshot | Holds a short-lived copy of your basket while you move from cart to checkout, so your order details survive the step. Expires after about 10 minutes. | Essential |
| first_discount_eligible / first_discount_used | Records whether the first-order discount has been offered to you and whether it has been used, so it is not applied twice. | Functional |
| welcome_popup_seen | Stops the welcome offer popup reappearing on every page you visit. | Functional |
Alongside cookies we use your browser's local storage to hold your basket before you sign in, so items are not lost if you close the tab. When you sign in, that basket is merged into your account and the local copy is removed.
This data stays in your browser. Clearing your browser data removes it.
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the essential ones will stop sign-in and checkout from working, because the site cannot keep track of who you are between pages.
